Why is Texas calling for firefighters to come and help them
Edited on Tue Sep-06-11 03:45 PM by malaise
I thought Perry et al hated those overpaid, fatcat govmint workers.

Fuck that - Tell Pat Robertson that my dead aunt told me that Gawd is pissed with Perry for having that half empty rally with those fucking heathens posing as Christians.

5. One reason they're calling, is because Perry cut funding for the volunteer fire dept in Texas by 75%

6. Obama should get down there right now.
He could show up Perry and make him have to show gratitude to the potus.

8. Because all of the prayers are coming true
When faced with a drought, Texans prayed.

When faced with fire, Texans prayed.

When faced with the fact that neither of the above worked, Texans got on the phone.

I'm surrounded by these magical-thinking Texans. There's a church on every corner and the air is filled with prayers.

who the hell knows? plus the guys' been the gov for 12 years now and eats at the money trough as much as he can, along with being a two faced person that wants to do away with everyone elses federal help but now he wants it for him.

It's kinda like judging folks here in sunny floriduh because of the 2000 selection and the prickscott fiasco in the making.

12. Well, since I didn't bash my home state of Florida...
and Parry's been elected by small margins of votes only. Perhaps if the DNC hadn't all but abandoned Texas in the last few years we might have been able to turn it around.
