DHS paranoid about Anonymous and the Sept. 17 Occupy Wall Street action?

WASHINGTON, DC – The Department of U.S. Homeland Security has issued a warning saying the hacking group Anonymous plans more attacks focused on the financial sector in coming months.

The DHS bulletion says Anonymous may “solicit ideologically dissatisfied, sympathetic employees” to aid their efforts. So-called “social engineering” of this sort is one of the dedicated hacker’s most productive tools.

Anonymous has used Twitter to attempt just such social engineering, although with apparently limited success to date.
