Bush lit the house on fire as he left , and Obama's the fireman
trying to put the blaze out.. but of course there's an elephant sitting on a big ole kink in the fire hose.. Can people really complain about the house burning down? Or that he has not single-handedly rebuilt the house, when every night the elephant comes & knocks down all the work done that day?

There's a cartoon in there somewhere..I can't draw it though :)

1. The problem is when he takes the cans marked "gas," handed to him by the GOP
...and throws it on the flames...

2. BINGO.
Again and again, those of us rooted in reality have pointed out Obama is not, for the most part, trying to stop Bush's damage. He's just doing more. The latest was the lack of chutzpah with the smog regulations.

3. The elephant then intimidates Obama into using its hose....
...which sprays gasoline. Obama compromises by using two hoses at once, one sprays water and the other gasoline.

5. Congressional Republicans are the neighborhood committee
that tells the firemen they knew their was a fire hazard all the time. "I told them and told them to..." and then go on to list all the recommendation they made that ended up causing your house to burn down.

7. Maybe the fireman should do something besides trying to persuade the elephant to be bipartisan.
