7. He's been screaming for two days because FEMA turned him down
and he's blaming Obama, not his own mismanagement of the 20 firefighting grants Texas has gotten this year alone.

Somebody needs to threaten him with an audit of that money. That's going to shut him up fast.

9. Is he going to fire the fires single-handedly or just leading another prayer session?

10. Fires a convenient excuse for Perry
Perry will do anything to avoid anything like a debate, or being asked questions. He refused to appear with White for debate in his last gov. race, he refused to meet with ANY newspaper editorial boards in his last election. He conveniently announced running the day after the Iowa debate; watch him weasel out of more. There was a leak from his campaign saying they would not be appearing in any news appearances except "friendly" ones.

11. Just what the state needs, more hot air to fan the flames.

http://www.statesman.com/

A Gov Goodhair is posing for pics and pandering to the rich in the elite Steiner Ranch subdivision, were 23 homes were destroyed over the weekend. From there he addressed the press and incorrectly stated 1000 homes were lost over the weekend. In actuality it's 1000 homes were lost in the past week. Approximately 700 homes were lost over the weekend. But, hey, you can't blame Perry for not knowing that, after all, he wasn't here he was in South Carolina telling the Teabaggers how he was a "superhero" who had turned Texas into a Teabagger Mecca.

Now we get to see how well his image of a Teabagger Mecca can stand up in the face of a catastrophic disaster. We're going to need some type of social net to catch all these people who are now homeless due to the fires. We're going to need funding to repair the damaged infrastructure. FEMA already started working to try and implement emergency disaster relief across the fire ravaged portions of the state this morning. FEMA, isn't that one of them SOCIALIST groups? I could have swore I heard the Teabaggers saying they were and they should be defunded and dismantled.

Well, hell. That was the shortest lived run as a Teabagger Mecca in history. Does this mean Perry isn't going to be able to call himself a "superhero" to the Teabaggers anymore, too? Dammit. I was looking forward his campaigning in tights and a cape.

Never fear, all's not lost yet! His peeps just need to stage a photo of him holding a sooty baby with tear stained cheeks and a wall of fire raging in the background. Hell, yeah! That'll make 'em forget all about the FEMA assistance!
