Crazy Ron Paul Loving Neighbor Update
Edited on Mon Sep-05-11 07:22 PM by MrScorpio
Just got back from the store… I noticed that he replaced the incredibly juvenile HANDMADE Ron Paul signs on his vehicle with overwhelmingly asinine genuine campaign stickers, featuring the desiccated face of the old fuck his damn self.

The INFOWARS sticker is still there.

That is all.

3. a primary challenge does nothing but cost money and give ammo to
the other side.

"See, even his own party doesn't think he is good for this country" is a very mild sample of what we could expect to hear.

A primary challenge has no hope of success and no Democrat with even the slightest amount of credibility will throw that away by challenging President Obama.

Since you are new here.. Welcome to DU and I guess you haven't seen my standard cut and past response to comments similar to yours.

Two great choices for Supreme Court.

The Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act

The Matthew Shepard Hates Crimes Prevention Act (which they said could not be done)

Children's Health Insurance

Tobacco Regulation

Credit Card Reform

Student Loan Reform

The Stimulus (including the largest tax cut ever, the largest investment in clean energy ever, the single largest investment in education in our country ever)

Health Reform

Wall Street Reform

The New G.I. Bill

The Food Safety Modernization Act (the most expansive food reform bill since the 1930s)

The Don't Ask Don't Tell Repeal

The New Start Treaty (even when the (R)s said he would never be able to get it passed)

Locking up over half the loose nuclear material in the world in less than half of his first term, something most (R)s thought impossible.

Most of that list is from The Rachel Maddow Show and is included in this clip
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/#4077 ...

In that clip she also estimates that ~85% of what President Obama said he wanted to accomplish in his first term had been accomplished in the first half of his first term.

Have we gotten everything we want? Oh Hell No! But the idea that this guy isn't worth reelecting is simply ridiculous from my point of view.

Remember that once this final campaign is over he doesn't need to worry about running again. His legacy will be his main focus and I am reasonably certain that he will want that legacy to be viewed as being liberal.

4. Defending a Republican nutjob and bad mouthing a Democratic president...
Edited on Mon Sep-05-11 07:36 PM by MrScorpio
We've got a winner here.

Look, buddy, Paul's a racist fuck who would drive a stake in America's heart if he was given the chance.

Just because he's a xenophobic, no-nothing isolationist it doesn't make him a nice guy.

Nice try, but I have a feeling that you're not very long with us.

6. I missed the part where Paul's racist. I've never heard him say anything racist.
Maybe I missed it.

Also not sure about the xenophoic label. He wants the US to let others run their own countries, and stop these wars of conquest/nation-building.

If you have examples of Paul being racist, and/or xenophobic, I'd like to see them for my own education.

Thanks.

9. Welcome to DU! -- and fuck Ron Paul.
He's an isolationist. He doesn't want to spend money on anything that isn't protection for people who have money. If you are rich, with no social conscience, he is you guy!

If you are anyone else, he will fuck you every way he can, and tell you it's for your own good.

How far back should we go, -- 12, 16 hour day?

Dark ages?

11. Yeah, actually, Ron Paul's flavor of crazy is pretty bad.
Being the Republican who makes a little bit of sense on a couple points is kind of like being the tallest midget in the circus.

I think we can do things like legalize pot without dismantling the FDA to get there, for instance.

13. 'don't rip me for this but...'
Prelude to a pantload of Paulist woo. Sorry, but 'I'm new' is not an excuse. Is the meaning of this website's name lost on you completely? Did you actually think you could pinch a loaf in the punchbowl without getting called on it - 'I'm new' or not? Especially one so repulsive as what you suggest? Where in pluperfect hell did you think you were registering three days ago: Stormfront? It'd get a rousing reception over there, I guarantee.

You probably could have flown under the radar on 'primary the President' alone, but you're late to that party. The barkeep has already announced 'last call!'

5. Ron Paul is a racist douchebag
And the answer is no to the Paulites that want me to yet again back this up. I'm fucking tired of posting the proof for this only to have them ignore it in one way or another. It is wicked easy to find if they really want truth... and not just the infowars/Paul kind of crazy truth.
