Elizabeth Warren addresses labor council

Introducing Warren at the annual Labor Day breakfast this morning, the president of the Greater Boston Labor Council compared her to Senator Edward M. Kennedy, while the state’s top union and Democratic political leaders stood and applauded her fiery keynote address at the event.

(snip)
“Whether I fight as an outsider or I fight from the floor of the senate,” she said before she was interrupted by an ovation. “I will continue to stand for you.”

(snip)
She sprinkled her speech this morning with anecdotes intended to present herself as a regular person, talking about the backyard barbecue she attended last Labor Day with family in Plymouth. She spoke about her brother, a retired crane operator and joked to the crowd that he had warned her not to embarrass herself in front of his fellow union members.

And she told her “David beats Goliath” story about how she took on the Wall Street banks, in a talk that was clearly tailored to the union audience. She said expanding the right to unionize will be one of her top three priorities -- along with education and construction investment. She also listed renewable energy, science research, and “a level playing field for small businesses” as other goals.

dont know anything about. He just said that Brown was popular in the state, and he is (and Warren is unknown for most regular MA people)

As for Warren, for her to win, she needs to decide to run (and if she decides not to run, she should get out of the way the fastest possible. We dont need a candidate who is not fully invested). And she needs to win the primary, where there are already 6 candidates, most of them as progressives as she is at least, and for some, better known than her.

So, Ms Warren, you're welcome to enter the race, but if this is what you want, do it. Do not wait a few more weeks which will help Brown by sucking media time about your candidacy.
