Nationalize the corporations, at least those with 1000 employees or more. Put people back to work instead of worrying when the next jet gets delivered or when the next vacation home gets purchased.

Oh, I am! A million bucks isn't that much money these days. You can't retire on it unless you can live on $15-20K/yr. It takes about 2M these days, and by the time most of us get to retirement age, it will be a couple of brazillon!

What we need to do is to redefine "retirement". Nowadays you are retired if you are over 65, have a place to live, a 40hr/wk job, and in good health. Face it, that's as close as most of us are going to get....if we're one of the lucky ones!
