The Teamsters and the Steelworkers put me through college, by negotiating a decent wage so I could work part-time and both pay tuition and live.

Now-a-days with union participation down to 7 percent in the private sector, it's almost impossible to do anymore.

But not to worry, Labor Day will soon be outsourced to China . . .
