Is Cheney trying to be Repub vice president again?
Edited on Sun Sep-04-11 07:07 PM by JohnnyLib2
Book or not, he has "gone public" just when the Repub field is unclear and voting blocs are up for grabs. And, he clearly thinks he has all the answers.....

Nope, no term limits apply.

:scared: :scared: :grr:

Edit to clarify: on the R ticket

1. Why settle?
He was already President during Bush's reign up until about 2006. I think he can still run for another term.

4. This is where water boarding is needed
He thinks answers can be gained from water boarding and with
this technique we just may be able to get him to tell the
truth.

5. There have been rumors about Biden stepping aside.
His appeal was always about counter-balancing Obama's inexperience. That seems unnecessary now, so I guess the door is open.

11. Oh, I see. Are the Democrats fielding a candidate too this time around?
If so, "Good for them!" I say.

Gotta admire the spirit that keeps trying.

I've only heard Republican policies and talking points from all the candidates, so I naturally assumed the Democrats had already conceeded, capitulated, or compromised themselves into extinction.

I'll keep a lookout for them!

10. He doesn't look or sound very healthy at all.
I doubt he'd stand up to the rigors of a campaign.

Something seems terribly wrong with him now.

He and his doctors know something the rest of us don't.

Yet.

The book is him trying to clean his slate up a bit before he retires to the big bunker in the sky.

Or wherever his ultimate bunker may be.
