1. It's nice to see a good number of women worked on this project.
That little molecule had little "arms" and that teeny tiny motor spins around? I have to say this: That little molecule motor sounds kind of "CUTE".

8. Yes. But why should that be significant?
Would it be less 'cute' if the project were pursued more by men?

Personally, I think that gender should be irrelevant when it comes to, well... virtually anything. Some think that gender ascribes character or ability. I do not.

So I guess I'm just curious. Would the project have been different were it pursued entirely by men?

3. History books written in the next century
will spent a lot of words on the major events of our time, and those won't be the events we would now point to. This might be one they'll be writing about.
