Did any reporter ever ask Joe Walsh about his unpaid child support?
Edited on Sun Sep-04-11 02:11 PM by gateley
He seemed to lay low for a few days while his people spread the word that he was paid up and it was total bs, then he was back in full stomach-turning force.

IS he paid up? Is there any there there? If not, why hasn't this been spread around? It just seems to have disappeared.

I'd love to interview his ex-wife.

This was prompted by the Bashir interview posted in Political Videos. I'll come back with the link for those who missed it.

He's truly insufferable.

6. Cirque du So-What (love that name!) posted that his Congressional
wages may be being garnished. If that's accurate, maybe that keeps someone out of jail, damn it anyway!

2. Last I heard...
some of his Congressional wages are being garnished, and he is due in court on 17 Sept. Hope the judge lets him have it!

5. Can someone be jailed for this? Maybe not if he's having his
wages garnished, but wow, we sure let that one fade away. Damn!

3. Bet not.
Now, had he been a Democrat, this would be the headlines on the news.

4. The Republicans would be referring to him as that "job killing deadbeat Congressman".
They always slip in that "job killing" description. :7

And yeah, you KNOW it'd be all Rush et al were yammering about. :eyes:

:hi:

7. Hmm.. Someone tweets a pic of his Weiner and a media and political firestorm forces him to resign..
Someone else in the same position refuses to support his minor children and the loudest sound you can hear are the crickets..

Priorities, ours are totally borked.

8. Yeah, I saw him interviewed on "Chicago TOnight"
a nightly local PBS public affairs program, just last week. He was asked, but he dodged the whole thing. Said he can't talk about an ongoing case, but that it's a lie and he owes nothing. (He did admit his wages were being garnished, when asked, but said that is just normal when there is a dispute. The final decision will show he's A-OK doncha know.)

He was so obnoxious I had to turn to House Hunters International or something.

9. Gee, I'm sorry I ever doubted him.
:eyes:

I find him really hard to take, too -- physically upsets me somehow. Maybe it's that instinct reaction to being threatened?

Thanks for the info, though. Those guys always slither through the tough questions and rarely are they questioned further. Glad it was at least addressed and that maybe he had to squirm a little.
