Cheney Attempts to Sow Division, Open Old Primary Wounds

Cheney: US different if Hillary Clinton president

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Hillary Rodham Clinton isn't president, but Dick Cheney says that if she were in the White House rather than Barack Obama, then things might be different today in the country.

Cheney isn't getting into specifics, but he does think that "perhaps she might have been easier for some of us who are critics of the president to work with."

The former vice president tells "Fox News Sunday" that it's his sense that the secretary of state is "one of the more competent members" of the Obama administration and it would be "interesting to speculate" about how she would have performed as president.

Clinton lost the 2008 Democratic nomination to Obama, who went on to beat Republican John McCain in the general election. Obama named Clinton as the country's top diplomat.

2. He was responding to Chris Wallace's shit stirrer of a question.
Seems FauxNews, Cheney, and a tiny handful of "emoprog" malcontents are still trying to divide our party. Fail!

7. That's just sad. I was a Hillary supporter during the
primaries. I can't imagine dissing a democratic president because of a primary battle. Sour grapes and self destructive.

6. Well now that's interesting...
considering there are Democrats who think Hillary would have stood up to repugs and here we have DickheadCheney claiming she would have been easier to work with.

Just a ploy to try and divide our party cuz theirs is on the crazy train to nutzville.

9. Yep, they got nothin'.
A cast of sycophantic corporate fluffers, freaks, and also-rans...

No new ideas, and a country still barely recovering from their obviously failed economic and foreign policies...

Attacking is the only thing they can do, and hopefully most voters will see through their bullshit.

I'm hoping things will tighten up here after the Convention and some of the obvious disruptors will be served.

Will it help? Who knows! At least the disapproval will get documented.

15. Had Hillary been elected President,
he'd have been speaking of "the calm black guy" with praise! Those assholes will say or do ANYTHING to spread discord among Democratic voters. Sadly, some here on DU seem to be falling for it.

20. It would be more interesting for Cheney to speculate on a Presidential Gore.
But first Cheney can go directly to hell. Rat-bastard SOB that has shamed and helped to bankrupt the USA needs to find Karmic law, since the justice system in this world has been shown to be corrupted for some people who are above men's laws. His actions speak louder than his empty words, and no one can spin or apologize his dirty deeds away.

"I'll follow you casket in the pale afternoon."
