Here is how we stop Jeb Bush forever...Governor Jeb Bush’s Son Violated Florida’s Sodomy Law and Doe
Now...if JEB ever runs...this will be known! He covers up! Would this have changed anything in 2000 or 2004???? The coverup is always worse than the crime. This may have helped GW, but Jeb will own this forever. This article by David Corn was found only in searching Florida statutes! We found it!

Governor Jeb Bush’s Son Violated Florida’s Sodomy Law and Doesn’t Get Charged
What if the GOP hadn’t stolen this from under all our noses? (excerpt)

Working For Change, December 11, 2000

By David Corn

All pundits and political junkies will have their favorite what-if. Here is mine. Two days before the election, a London newspaper, The Mail, ran an item noting that Governor Jeb Bush’s 16-year-old-son John (aka "Jebby") had been busted by the police a month earlier for having had sex with a bare-to-the-waist 17-year-old girl in a Jeep Cherokee parked at a Tallahassee shopping mall. Two security officers had come upon the scene — the action was occurring at 10:00 pm — and they called in the police.

The issue was not that George W. Bush’s nephew was engaged in truly a youthful indiscretion. But according to Artie Brown, one of the two security guards, Jebby spoke to his father-the-governor and then said, "My dad will fix it." And maybe Jeb Bush did. Jebby was never charged. There was a police report filed that noted that the cops had investigated a possible crime of "sexual misconduct." But Sergeant Oscar Brannon, who filed the report, said charges were not pursued because the lustful couple had not been in public view. Brown, though, contradicted that assessment. And in his report, Brannon did note that shortly after he arrived at the parking lot, "I became aware of the political ties" of the male suspect.

The important question is, did Governor Jeb Bush use his clout to protect a son caught not acting in accordance with Republican family values? This is not an insignificant query, for had Big Jeb intervened in any manner it would be an abuse of office.

The police report was leaked to the major newspapers of Florida. None went with the story. So on the final weekend of the campaign — when George W. was working the Sunshine State hard — the only mention of this potential trouble appeared across the Atlantic.

Ponder how those last days might have played out had this news emerged — particuarly after the electorate had been treated to revelations regarding George W. Bush’s 1976 drunk-driving arrest. Would Bush’s appearances in Florida have been dominated by questions regarding the possible interference of his brother in a police matter? Might Jeb have been distracted and forced to take time away from his efforts to win Florida for his brother? What if? Certainly, such a ruckus could have cost the Bush clan 538 votes.

5. Yes, but she was charged. Caught again with drugs in rehab and hospital put it out, Jeb couldn't
hide that. Drugs are a health issue. And a personal matter. Maybe sodomizing someone in a shopping center parking lot is too. The problem is the cover up, and the mistrust he would have as a leader ever again. He did not hide Noelle's drug problems. Said he was handling it like a "father". Where was this principle of making his son pay the piper? He covered up for him. They are grooming little Jebby for office and he just endorsed Huntsman in FLA. HA!

6. Jeb's daughter forged prescriptions for drugs
From 2002:

All three of Florida Governor Jeb Bush's children, Noelle, Jeb Junior, and George P. Bush, have appeared in Florida police reports.

We all know about Noelle Bush, who called a Tallahassee Walgreen's Tuesday pretending to be doctor "Noelle SCIDMORE." The 24-year-old was eventually led off in handcuffs for attempting to illegally purchase a controlled substance.

But if you prefer sex scandals instead of drug scandals, you'll be rooting for her brother Jeb Bush Jr. A little over a year ago two security officers at the Tallahassee Mall found him parked in a blue Jeep Cherokee with an underaged female. Both Jeb and the teenaged girl were naked from the waist down -- and according to the police report, the two were apparently caught in the act of making sweet monkey love.

<snip>

Sexual frustration appears to be a factor in another police report filed on the brother of Noelle and Jeb Junior. George P. Bush broke into the bedroom window of a former girlfriend, and though he eventually fled the scene, he later returned to drive his Ford Explorer across the family's lawn.

3. I'm not sure Jebby had to get involved...
Police know the shitstorm that gets kicked up around them when dealing with someone with political power, and I suspect most times, don't want to deal with the horseshit that goes along with it. One week, he arrests Jeb's son, then next it's on Faux news that his wife once donated to a Democrat and they speculate that the arrest was politically motivated.

I'm sure police let prominent politicians slide all the time on this sort of stuff. Just ask Patrick Kennedy.

11. If Jeb didn't have to get involved
there goes your corruption claim. If you want to keep Jeb out of office, all you have to do is remind the repukes of all the things they DIDN'T get when * was president. Believe it or not, many repukes felt * was far too liberal.

9. Sorry to be the contrarian, but in the end this will not hurt the father
father that much. Republicans have selective belief system.

They believe what they choose to believe. "This is just politics"
rationalizes away lots and lots of things. Some people will actually
get angry for going after the kids.

18. Not sure I will agree. Sodomy was involved, the Christian Right are gone.
Also, Jeb will need lots of New-Democrats' votes and unlike true Republicans they might not look the other way.

20. And, Florida still has laws on the books about this...
But this is about Jeb Bush getting something covered up. He cannot be trusted.

This is important as the country calls Jeb the "smart one", the "good one". No no no no noooooo.

33. A sixteen year old kid got a blow job, and you think anyone, including the right, cares?

Both of the Palin's two eldest engaged in premarital sex, and not only does the religious right not care, but I don't either. It has absolutely nothing to do with Palin's stunning lunacy as a politician, or anything else for that matter, but it certainly doesn't hurt her support among religious right wing nitwits.

10. We all can point to scandalous behavior of a family member, but
EACH member of Jeb's family has been involved in criminal activity. In addition to young "Jebby's" indiscretion:

http://www.sptimes.com/News/62299/State/Gov_Bush_says_his_wif.shtml
In 1999 Columba, Jeb's wife, got caught bringing $19,000 worth of clothes and jewelry purchases into the country without declaring it all to customs. She was fined and paid the fine (and, to be fair, this is apparently SOP in such cases, although I'm not so sure.)

http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2002/01/29/noelle-bush.htm
In 2002, daughter Noelle's charges of prescription fraud. She was charged with prescription fraud, a felony that carries a maximum penalty of five years in jail and a $5,000 fine. Noelle Bush has no known criminal record and was released without having to post bond. Experts say punishment for a first offense is usually drug treatment or probation.

Also, Noelle Bush had been cited for about a dozen traffic violations and was involved in three automobile crashes since 1995, according to The Associated Press.

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/crime/nut-some-soup-0
And son, George Prescott Bush was arrested in 1994 for breaking into a former girlfriend's bedroom through her window and then vandalizing the property. The victim's family didn't press charges.

31. Of course, Grampy Prescott Bush got a wrist slap for being a Banker to Hitler and the Nazis
as is extensively documented.

But the Republicons obviously think that backing Hitler and the Nazis against America was a smart financial move on the part of their Chickehawk Plutocrat PuppetMasters.

That is why American's have no respect for 'Republicon Family Values." They are so totally twisted.

25. my favorite Jeb story is Chang his mystical warrior spirit guide (religious right will love it)
After more than an hour of solemn ceremony naming Rep. Marco Rubio, R-West Miami, as the 2007-08 House speaker, Gov. Jeb Bush stepped to the podium in the House chamber last week and told a short story about "unleashing Chang," his "mystical warrior" friend.

Here are Bush's words, spoken before hundreds of lawmakers and politicians:

''Chang is a mystical warrior. Chang is somebody who believes in conservative principles, believes in entrepreneurial capitalism, believes in moral values that underpin a free society.

''I rely on Chang with great regularity in my public life. He has been by my side and sometimes I let him down. But Chang, this mystical warrior, has never let me down.''

http://www.gainesville.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050918/COLUMNS/50917061/1096/editorials

When you read the whole article, it doesn't sound as New Age wacky, but hardcore righties are not exactly known for drilling down into the details.

They just need to hear that Jeb has a spirit guide other than the Holy Spirit or Jesus Christ and it's game over.

Or maybe Chang is just his nickname for his penis.

Edited on Sun Sep-04-11 04:29 PM by XanaDUer
I'm still getting over the fact one of his kids was waving his weenie in public. I knew about the drug abuser. For the sodomy kid - I mean, a lot of young people do that.

But Chang? CHANG!?

Oh, the Bush Family - what a load of creepy freaks.

Edited to add:

Bush then unsheathed a golden sword and gave it to Rubio as a gift.
”I’m going to bestow to you the sword of a great conservative warrior,” he said, as the crowd roared.

:scared:
