2. yep, that's pretty much it...
teabaggers are propping up the status quo while claiming to be against it, which is laughable.

15. EXACTLY ... we are the only ones remaining who stand between them and their masterplan
falling into place with total corporate control of government.

3. I don't think that's true at all.
No one is looking to "piss off" liberals, though liberals are angry because their agenda is not being sufficiently touted. The truth is that the liberal end of the spectrum does not hold sufficient sway to influence events in this election cycle.

There are three parties in the US today, in reality.

There's the left, the right, and the middle.

People in the middle slop over, they're moderate to conservative Democrats, independents, Linc Chaffee-style Republicans, and people who are registered to a party because "everyone" in their area is of that flavor, and they don't want to stand out....but they really don't give a shit either way.

Right now, the middle has the executive branch, and the choice in this next election will be between the incumbent middle and the crazyass right.

Those are the choices. Sure, if you are on the left end of the spectrum, you can go third party, or stay home, if that makes you feel good....but the ghost of Nader is still a fresh chill. What did that stunt deliver unto America? Eight years of the Wee Cowboy.

The choice will be between the middle and the fruitcake right. Cutting off one's nose to spite one's face is probably not a good idea, so the "lesser of two evils" (for those who think Obama is 'evil'--I am not one of them, BTW) option is probably the best option, all things considered.

After all the fighting, squabbling, gnashing of teeth and invective, it'll come down to that, like it or not.

7. Middle of what, the Republican party of the 90's?
Looks like a contest between the corporate right and radical regressives to me.

12. Look, if you chop up the spectrum into thirds, that's what you get.
The GOP in the 90s was that thing which spawned the Wee Cowboy, under whom we suffered for eight long years, so I think your comparison is not accurate.

Don't shoot the messenger.

I remember checking his site every day during the 2000 elections. Way before we knew he was Duncan Black.
