1. The M$M works for the GOP, by and large.
To expect a POSITIVE headline, is to live in a fantasy world where liberals control the airwaves! Nice, but won't ever happen.

3. Of course they do, but why give them ammunition?
There must be one person in the WH smart enough to realize how the liberal media will spin any interaction between Obama and the republicans. So knowing that, why take the one action that will play right into their hands?

5. Had the EPA rule gone through, it would have been "Obama pushes new billion-dollar regulation"--
In fact, one article I read did basically that.

6. There are no liberals in the WH.
That is part of the problem imo. They need a liberal network in place to counter the RWing spin attacks 24/7.

9. What would a positive headline on the smog regulations have been?

2. The headlines are adding spin, though. They are serving a purpose.

4. It's the MSM political machine running. All we get in this country for
the most part is propaganda. We're worse than Russia during the cold war. At least there many people knew they were getting bullshit. In the US, sadly, many people (not speaking you) run with the bullshit and call it news.

8. And never ask questions. Busy working 60 hours a week.
Which is by design.
