2. How will hiring stupid people increase demand more than hiring non-stupid people?

3. Hiring stupid won't help. There's already too much of that,
especially in the ranks of upper management.

4. They send our jobs overseas, now they want higher demand to buy
their products. I don't think they thought this through before sending our jobs away,

5. Let's see: there's plenty of work to be done, plenty of workers, but nothing is being done.
It's an age-old problem with capitalism. Would Karl Marx say, "I told you so?"

7. I think we need to divorce ourselves from Wall St.
And just like a divorce we need to stop asking about what *THEY* want and start asking what *WE* want!

9. Yes, you are right
But the goal is to make sure unemployment stays high so president Obama continues to look bad and the "HOPE" this will prevent him from being elected and they can get one of the morons running on the republican ticket in the WH so they can do away with "ALL" regulations, and put us back in the same pile of crap we were in when George W. was president! Nothing else matters to them right now. They can weather the bad economy and they don't give a damn about the rest of the country!

10. Simple concept, isn't it. And here we sit treading water slowly drowning. I don't
claim to be an economic expert, but many have learned it's far more profitable to get cheap money from the gov. and invest globally.

None are interested in job creation in the US. We are our own worst enemy. It's just one giant DUH! Our economy is obsolete for the 21st century, but our 13% approval rating congress isn't doing squat to fix anything, than to show up for their paychecks and benefits.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist devotee, but damn, sometimes when you listen to some of their stuff it gets hard to accept TPTB rhetoric.

12. 90 percent of the population is working - but spending a lot less than before.
90 percent of the population is working - they are driving the economy. There is your lack of demand - everyone I know (including myself) is spending less and saving more. Hiring a bunch of people is not going to solve that problem.

And why do you assume that newly hired workers will go on a spending spree? I suspect many will cut make on their lifestyles while they pay off the debt they have accumulated and rebuild their savings/retirement.

14. That does not take into account the people that have run
out of unemployment, the ones that have taken jobs at less pay, the ones that have had their wages cut, the ones that have had their hours cut, the ones that have had their benefits cut, the ones that have never held a job that are out looking now.

You add those numbers in also..........
Not attacking you but just throwing out other things to look at
