DELUSIONAL.....(personal rant of drama queen proportions)
RANT ON: every single person on this planet is or is becoming delusional....we have been taken for the ride of our lifetimes....believing that we actually can make a difference, yeah right...I watched JFK last night and when they took out Bobby.....it was a sign for those who want to make a difference that it will cost you your life...there is no getting off the ride now....Barak Obama has shown, those with eyes to see, that there is no hope....there is only wealth(not for us) and war(for us)...the new world has shown itself and there is no room for those that want to live a life of peace and wellbeing for everyone...that type of life just doesn't exist....and will never exist...NO MATTER HOW MUCH I OR YOU WISH IT TO BE.

Sometimes you just gotta face the facts...money/greed rules this world, and those with it will never give it up. EVER.

Yup...having one of those days where things just don't make any sense anymore...
war criminals waking free making money off of their crimes
governments playing games to keep the peons fooled and fighting against themselves.
truth has been taken off the table, its all smoke and mirrors now.

man has failed....and failed badly.

I have to look to nature (whats left of it) to find the solace to keep me breathing and moving in this messed up fucked up jumbled up world...

I can see how people end up ending their lives....tired.....tired of it all.

not to worry....3:00 comes fast and I have a cold one in the fridge and a happy stick to cloud up my mind enough to keep me happy in this shitty world, not too mention, I know I am not alone in my feelings, no matter how much some may think I have jumped the shark or smoked one too many.

WE TOLERATE THIS SHIT AND CONTINUE TO BELIEVE IT WILL GET BETTER....BUT IT NEVER DOES...NOT REALLY

RANT OFF

3. No! Movie Independence Day where our "shots" hit the target but we can't see the damage.
In that movie, there is some device that keeps us from seeing that our "shots" at the alien spacecraft actually are damaging it.

We are making a difference but the corporate media won't cover our successes. In the past, environmental activists got the corporate run government to clean up the rivers. Also, consider how mad the wing nuts are. Surely that indicates that we are making a difference. The reality in this case is that the wing nuts have been angry for over 30 years and our current Democrats refuse to give them something to actually be angry about like raising taxes or REALLY regulating the crooks. (Usury laws, anyone?)

Any good news for liberals and Democrats will be spun to the negative.

41. I remember well when millions of people
around the world protested the Chimpoleon/Poodle Iraq war. Not because I saw anything whatsoever about it in any US media except for the NY Times, but because I heard it covered extensively on the BBC. And that is what we're up against. Did anyone other than Ed Schultz really cover what happened in Wisconsin up close? Not that I can remember, though Rachel had a lot of interviews with WI Dems. But only Ed was there for any length of time.

If the Corporate Media decide it never happened, it never happened, even if it involved millions of people.

4. Personally, I refuse to give up.
If you're right then there's not much to lose by trying is there, and hey, what if we succeed?

And even if we only succeed in small ways, then we've made the world a tiny bit better.

The fight itself can give you reason to go on, if nothing else.

16. Thanks for not giving up......
that is the one thing I guess I can hold hope for....that other like you will refuse to give up, but
can you accept that not everyone has the gonads to keep the fight going tho? I have not given up totally, but I sure get squashed down by the pure hatered of some towards others...why does it have to be that way?

25. I have to say that I'm surprised that a Canadian feels beaten down.
I understand that it's not perfect up there, but at least you have health care.

A lot of us look at you with some envy. I guess I didn't realize how many problems you guys have.

I can accept that some people are tired of the fight.

27. Don't feel surprised.....
I, we , have a lot to be thankful for... believe me I realize that...we truly are blessed here in ways that others aren't. I guess maybe having those blessings makes you see what others don't have, but should. It makes you mad that the world plays these games with peoples lives. It makes ME MAD that I have days like this....

There is no fucking reason why the USA doesn't have health care other than greed and insanity.

our problems don't even compare to other atrocities happening around the world...I get why others see me as a complainer/whinner/crybaby...I call myself those things on days like this.

I needed to be reminded of the joys I do have...and about what I can control in my own private life and to remember to not give up..even when I feel like there is no point...because LIFE is the point, and I thank you,and every other reply to this thread, for your help with that point.

communication...its not just for breakfast anymore.

29. If you need something to help you feel just a little better
I pay $900 a month for health insurance.

Not to belittle what you're saying. I know that both you and I have it better than most of the rest of the people on this planet. Their plight is definitely something to be concerned about.

The fact that a lot of it is due to politics and human obstructionism is infuriating.

32. That is sick...in the bad way....
$900.00/ month is obscene.....we paid $96.00/month when we were paying it on our own(without the risk of beind denied help due to any type of condition)..now my husband gets medical paid with his union job.

so sorry.

it is all perspective isn't it.

I draw a blank as to what can be done....to be able to help anyone/everyone!?

Keep myself aware of the truth.

37. I am in Canada....
yes...his employer pays our medical now...and depending on what a person makes in a year, decides the cost if the employer doesn't pay (hence the $96.00/month for a couple). at least in BC....I think it is a bit different in each province....

My company pays extended medical(not basic medical) and dental...so we had to pay it ourselves prior to his union job. Extended medical is for long term absences from work, glasses, special treatments etc. Ordinary/basic medical is for going to the doctors for care or specialists if needed.

10. of course you would...cause this world and how its run sucks for you right now, right?.
different degrees of suckiness yes...but it still sucks.

Do you believe this world will achive peace? for everyone? Do you believe this world will provide food? for everyone? Do you believe this world will stop harming women and the weak? for every country? Do you believe that this world will share the wealth? with everyone?

let be truly honest here...can the above be achived? yes,in different degrees?...is it fair?..hell no...but its the way the world turns right? and I am just saying how I feel at this moment in time.

I feel hopeless today.....maybe tomorrow I will feel hopefull. I am allowed those feelings right?

the big picture is hard to accept...in our small little lives, its a bit easier.

I WANT YOU TO NOT WANT TO TRADE PLACES. It shouldn't be an option. Life is a blessing, but man has turned it into a "The one with the most(power, money, control) wins" kind of place.

we are at war with eastasia....we have always been at war with eastasia....and if the powers that be are in charge...we will always be at war....

20. "Life is a blessing."
That is the truth. It took me a long time to really appreciate and celebrate that truth. That day came, but not before many life-altering lessons. I guess some say it's denial and maybe it is, but after nearly losing my life twice, I really do try to live each day with a smile on my face, a spring in my step and peace in my heart. That doesn't mean I live with blinders on, but I sure don't let as much get to me as I used to. :)

Celebrate your life and enhance other lives where/when you can. You do make a difference, you just don't always know you do. ((hugs))

7. Oh...I see very clearly.....
we were in Iraq(not officially eh!)....we are in Afganastan....yeah...Harper is our Bush..and electing him this last time gave him the power he has been craving since entering office...we are taken better care of than most people in this world, yes...does that change the fact that its all an illusion in the simplest forms....NO.

Harper is trying to change our health-care system to privitization....slowly but surely.

Canada is holding on with its fingernails....along with many countries that have universal heath-care, that doesn't change the fact of whats going on behind the curtain.

Those rose coloured glasses everyone is wearing will eventually show the real colour of the world.
The colour is green($)...it goes with greed and power and control....get in line for your orders, cause they will be coming.

some days you just feel like there is no use.....today is one of those days....I am sure I will be in a better spirit tomorrow....but thats tomorrow.

don't get me wrong...I warned ya it was a drama queen rant.....there is a small flicker of hope inside...it just gets bogged down from the weight of the shit out there sometimes...I am after all human right?

13. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness...
Well I got life. Which they can easily take away.
I can pursue my happiness but that would end my liberty.
But I believe that the true majority want Life Liberty and Happiness.
It might just take a little bit more to get them to stand up and demand it.
What we have right now is a Tyranny of the Minority.

here in France you get national health care even if you dont "work" pot goes for 5 a gram in 10 gram bags. if you sell 300 10 gram bags in a year you get 15 000 euros when you add in the 8000 euros in welfare per person a couple can make 15000 dirty and 16 000 in welfare and live quite nicely, you just have to grow about 20 plants which will get you a fine but no jail in practice and learn to live with a slight fear of getting busted. I have not been able to do this yet but have been learning from local growers and may get going on this plan if my english teaching work dries up due to budget cuts in the educational system
