Coming to Seattle: A how-to school for marijuana

​Move over, Oaksterdam. Seattle's about to get its very own cannabis university too.

The Academy of Cannabis Culture and Technology is set to open at an undisclosed location in South Seattle on Sept. 7 and the school's co-founder tells Seattle Weekly that classes will cover everything from marijuana laws, to history, cultivation, and grow-room construction.

"The governor decided to say that we can't have safe access points , and basically that everyone should be growing their own ," says Jason Semer, ACCT co-founder and owner of THClist.com. "So they're forcing people to grow their own medicine. So we thought, let's teach them to do it properly."

The first class that students take at ACCT is one on the laws surrounding cannabis.

1. A big reason for this is because the Obama admin stated that they would prosecute State employees
for authorizing anything that was illegal under Federal Law, even if it was legal under State Law. Gregoire chose not to put those employees in the line of fire, but instead left a wide open loophole that this school is exploiting.

Gov. Gregoire chose, IMO, the best temporary solution, but I wish she had taken a tougher stance against the Feds and asserted States Rights.

2. We should all grow our own!
We have a natural right to do so.
Don't let anybody tell you that you don't!!

We have a god given right to grow and possess any natural plant.
The right to grow plants is without a doubt a unalienable right!
The idea of making a plant illegal to grow would of made our Founding Fathers' heads explode.
The Federal Government has no Constitutional authority to tell me what plants I can and cannot grow!
They can regulate me selling them across state lines, but they can not say I can not grow a plant for my personal use on my private property!
It is so simple and such a basic right!
First they take away our right to grow one plant.
Now Farmers can not plant certain seeds or they get sued for cross pollunization from other farms.
DO NOT LET OUR RIGHT TO GROW PLANTS BE INFRINGED! by government or business.

Next they will say we can't grow our own food!!!!!

Natural Rights are protected by the Constitution
Don't let them take your Natural Rights away!!

9th Amendment The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
