China tidal surge in pictures
A look at the giant tidal surge that hit the Qiantang River, China yesterday - leaving more than 20 people injured. The freak tides are the biggest in nine years and are thought to have been caused by the tropical storm Nanmadol. Spectators flock to the Qiantang River each year to watch the rising tide.
