I predict that a HUGE number, if not ALL of the GOP 'thugs...
.. will skip/boycott/flat out refuse to attend the President's speech..

to show how "independent" they are

and in the process, will cut their throats once and for all to show they just don't care about anything but their tax cuts.

Make it so, please make it so.

1. I think Obama may be counting on it
and would prove the main point of his speech.

yes, just speculation, but GOP behavior is so darn predictable that I've gotta believe Obama knows what he's in for.

13. Oh, so the GOP was planning to discuss jobs at the next debate?
You think they were lining up to discuss how they couldn't create a new job in eight years, or how they got elected last year on a job creation platform, and then fought job creation every step of the way?

Well, they're fuckin' A going to discuss it now, aren't they?

And it all happened by magic.

6. It's gonna be the next litmus test for Teabaggers in both Houses.
They've got eight more days to work themselves into a frenzy.

IMHO, it's a sure thing. You betcha!

16. What will be the next litmus test? The "Did you go to Obama's speech?" test?
Edited on Thu Sep-01-11 08:09 PM by Major Hogwash
Man, that would be one cold litmus test.

18. Yes. It'll be a Teabagger test.
I think it's gonna snowball to the point where Boehner tries to get the crazies to attend to avoid a nationally televised prime-time embarrassment. And I don't see Cantor being helpful to the Speaker in any way.
