Could we please stop calling him "Darth Cheney"? It's offensive.

After all, in the Star Wars movies, Darth Vader started as a good person. Even after he transformed into something evil, he had a certain panache, and in the end, his conflicted nature came out in an act of goodness. We KNOW that is not the case with Shooter.

Also, don't call him a vampire. Most of the vampires of legend don't choose to be who they are.

He's a lich, pure and simple. If you don't know the term, Google it. You'll see. He's a lich, one of the undead kind.

1. I'm sure Cheney was a good person once...
For about a nanosecond after his birth... or hatching... or that last cell division...

2. If that is so, I'm sure he's had killed anyone who can verify it.
he learned early not to leave any trails back to himself.

3. Howzabout Voldemort then?
Tom Riddle was always a twisted and sick fuck even before he transformed into Voldemort.

4. That could work. But I still prefer "lich".
Probably because I was a D&D geek, and liches represent ultimate evil to me.

12. I think Voldemort is a kind of lich.
Edited on Thu Sep-01-11 03:23 PM by EOTE
At least he shares a number of characteristics with them. The Horcruxes in which Voldemort has hidden his soul is very much like a lich's phylactery that also contains its soul. I wouldn't doubt it if J.K. Rowling used the lich as inspiration for Voldemort.

5. Darth is a Sith title not a first name, Cheney is Sithy as one gets without a red lightsaber.

6. Okay, extra points to you for use of "sithy".
Edited on Thu Sep-01-11 02:49 PM by arbusto_baboso
And btw, I know that about Sith being a title. BUT....

Most people just associate the word Darth with Darth Vader, so....

8. Cheney is a homunculus
He is an artificial human created by a mix of alchemy and magick. Undoubtedly the person that made him/it didn't realize the extreme evil of their creation, or they did and purposely set him loose onto the world to destroy mankind.

13. Well, I can see how the Sith could be offended.
But he's still Darth Cheney to me, and to hell with the Sith. ;-)

Note that the title "Darth" evolved in the Star Wars fiction to mean the "Dark Lord of the Sith," always a very bad guy.

"My my this here Anakin guy
May be Vader someday later
Now he's just a small fry."

(Sorry, Weird Al.)
