How soon until Chris Christie leaves the repub party and becomes a Dem?
The thread title is total sarcasm. I do not expect Governor Himself to switch parties in my lifetime.

But wow. He's saying he wants **federal help** now and let the means to pay for it get figured out later. He referred to the repubican led deficit debate as nonsense.

Amazing how ox goring has such an impact, huh?

14. Irene really woke him up. Now he's going after congress for money to spend on infrastructure.
I guess he's realized that people are more important than country. Our citizens are America's best natural resource.

2. Well since federal taxes are much heftier than state taxes why shouldn't those funds go back to the
States?

The practice of taxing on the federal level and sending it back to states always seemed odd to me

3. He will never be a Democrat because he's a hypocrite. And hypocrites, by their nature,
are Republicans. Of course he sounds like a Democrat ONLY when it is politically expedient. And even if he did become a Democrat, there is no way in hell that he'd get my support with his plan to destroy public education, while sending his children to private religious schools.

7. Hell, no. You didn't get my point. The point was that he CAN'T because Republicans
by and large are hypocrites.

11. I'd be really surprised if Rush goes after Christie
That's what usually happens when R's cross the ideological line these days. So far, I haven't found a peep said about a reaction to Christie by Rush. So it's interesting.
