WikiLeaks Says U.S. Obtained Order for Web Host's Records
Source: Wall Street Journal

WASHINGTON—WikiLeaks said Wednesday that U.S. prosecutors investigating the alleged unauthorized disclosure of government documents to the antisecrecy group obtained a judge's order for account records from WikiLeaks's Web hosting provider.

The order from January offers a window into the broad sweep investigators haven been making to pursue what U.S. officials say were criminal violations in leaking thousands of sensitive U.S. government files and classified diplomatic cables.

The January order from a magistrate judge in Virginia's Eastern District seeks records from Dynadot, of San Mateo, Calif., which WikiLeaks said provided Web-hosting services to the group, related to WikiLeaks and Julian Assange, the group's founder.

.....

The Dynadot order was issued around the same time Justice Department prosecutors in Alexandria, Va., obtained a similar order for records from Twitter Inc.

1. Accounts? They are going after the donors now? Quick, everyone give them some money.
If you are like me and felt left out because you could never be on Nixon's enemies list, now is your moment to get some recognition.

Seriously, do they think that threatening to go after donors will stop the kind of people who support this form of civil disobedience? No, it will just make them stronger.

5. Unless I'm totally wrong
Julian Assange is NOT AN AMERICAN CITIZEN, therefore how can he be even investigated for treason?

6. Stop using logic, what did I tell you about that?
they can't so the use the next best thing, public assassination. And when that fails, bring him up via "diplomacy" on trumped up charges.

9. You're mistaken - the subpoenas cite the investigation
of possible violations of the Espionage Act <18 U.S.C. 793> - gathering and/or transmitting defense information and related offenses, not treason.
