So Texas is burning while Governor Goodhair is galavanting around
playing prezidenshal. He's been here in Iowa bragging about how he runs with his big gun filled with hollow point bullets and if that is part of your value system, you should come to Texas, where you can get a fine substandard pay service job and watch the state burn down as it swelters in non-man made global warm...heat whilst stewing in toxic chemical sludge created by big oil. Aren't Texans the least bit curious about why Governor Goodhair isn't home addressing the crisis there?

2. Look, fires are bad, but......
....the guvner has bidness to do, deals to make, hands to shake, and money to take! He has no time for these inconveniences.

Probably just a bunch of liberals livin there anyway, so it's not high on his priority list. Maybe a photo of him holding a fire hose, yeah that's it, would give him some good PR! You know, dress him up in a fire fightin suit and a helmet, and a HUGE codpiece. Hey, it worker fer W! In fact, they could start a smaller fire away from the danger of the huge fire, and show him putting it out....mission accomplished!

Sorry, gotta go and send this idea to his campaign. This could be hugh!

6. Just like it was burning and he said to pray for rain.
This was after he and the lege cut the forestry budget by 25% which money was to go to FD's to pay for training and equipment to fight brush fires.

7. How can he KEEP his travel expenses SECRET for 18 months??
Perry signed a law, passed by the legislature that gives him the right to "hide" his travel costs from public scrutiny over the next 18 months. How can that be. He is allowed to spend taxpayer dollars with no accountability. During the campaign, he wants to stick taxpayers with some of the bills, or use taxpayer facilities. It is bad news. Like when Christie took a state helicopter to his kids football game and then off to a fundraiser. I don't think this is legal. How do we find out??

8. From the era when WhistleAss was (s)elected for office
I recall reading that the governor of Texas was a do-nothing position, otherwise, Dim Son would have quickly had it fucked-up like Hogan's goat. Could it be that Texas is hardly missing the 'performance' of (p)Rick Perry's 'duties?'

10. Regardless, it should be a wake up call to erswhile supporters about
his priorities. What would he do in a national crisis? How many other things would he find more important? I really don't want any more Texas or Florida pols in the presidency for the rest of my life.

13. Yeah, you and I see value in tending to crises at home before pursuing political gain
but mindless automatons envision their intrepid guv going on a crusade against gawdless hedonism or somesuch nonsense.

9. They're probably happy he's gone... the dumba$$.
He is truly a bad representation of Texans. Besides, the Lt. Governor pretty much can run things anyway.

15. But he hasn't sang 'Cat Scratch Fever' with Ted Nugent, like Huckabee did.
"I make the pussy purr with
The stroke of my hand
They know they gettin' it from me
They know just where to go
When they need their lovin man
They know I do it for free"

Course, conservatives are only offended by Black rappers. Yee ha.
