Thanks for the kind replies to my journal and I would like to introduce myself...I always wanted to be St Theresa. It took me many years to realize that wasn't gonna happen. I have a few friends I've had for 30 years or so, and they tell me I am nice, but they don't know how I have to grind out kindness even to them, not to mention strangers. I am a loner by choice, and my whole family shares a very dark dark sense of humor. I like cemeteries,the old funeral home my family uses,and feel there is nothing I can't something funny in the worst things that have happened to me. I am a Democrat in the land of right wingers. I became a Dem when Ronald Regan ran for office. I listened to him and knew I could not go there. Two of my favorite Democrats are gone now, Molly Ivins and Ann Richards. I miss them daily in this political swamp we live in. I watch MSNBC and never watch Fox news.I will always be a fan of both Clintons and will never be a fan of clan Bush. We have so many problems and sometimes I despair, because so many people seem to be against their own self-interest. I have lived in Texas since 1968 I absolutely will take the federal government over the states rights, gun toting, anti-science, minority-hating, anti-education, anti-choice state government.
