4. The benches sitting in a couple of inches of sand

told me a lot about how bad flooding was (and wasn't).

They used to leave snowplows hooked up year round on Cape Cod to push the sand off beachfront roads after every storm.

The big story with this storm is going to be the flooding coming down all the rivers since the storm is so wet and moving so slowly.

6. I can identify #4 and #6

#4 is at the boat basin at the World Financial Center in NYC. The new 1 World Trade Center is hidden behind the building on the right.

#4 is at Battery Park, NYC, at the water's edge (or at least what is usually the edge). Off to the right (well out of the shot) is the loading zone for Circle Line boats that aren't doiong any loading today.

No idea as to when they were taken.
