Can someone post a pic of Russert in his yellow coat?
I've seen multiple threads and no pics. I'm now curious as to what potato heads son looks like in rain gear.

It's useless w/o a pic.

1. I'l try to find a short clip
You really have to see him holding onto the boat. 80 miles inland.

:D

8. Hrm, not seeing any images or clips
Checked google and twitter. I'll keep looking and try to screen shot his next boat report (although it is dark on the east coast now, so they may be done with his investigative journalism for today).

11. He looks like anyone else wearing a raincoat?
He's getting airtime on the weather channel. I don't see what the big fuss is, re: his raincoat. His coverage is weak though. :)

has come a long way. I just don't get it. :(

13. He annoyed me no end during the Weiner scandal...
he sat there smirking and just about to break into giggles.

I found that unprofessional; he reminded me of a frat boy, not a reporter.

14. He sure has
From unemployed college kid to national correspondent.

Not bad for a first job. ;-)

Noting (again) that my tone is one of lack of respect, not some inane "jealousy" claim. I don't do family entitlements any more than I look to protect the taxes of the top 2%.

16. I never thought it was jealousy - where did that come from? I sincerely
think he's improved a lot and is doing a pretty good job. Agree he probably shouldn't have gotten the gig without paying some dues, but still think he's handled it pretty well. He seems to be able to discern a lot of what's going on. Maybe not all yet, but he's still wet behind the ears.

17. It wasn't personal.
Just fending off the "you're just jealous he's successful" responses I had on another thread about him tonight. Being proactive.

19. Ha!
Always good to be proactive! Why would anyone be jealous of a kid who's lost his dad, gets a plum gig that he probably is a little embarrassed about, and no doubt is aware that people don't take him seriously.

Glad you didn't think I was leveling the jealously charge at you -- I was baffled! :hi:

29. Oh my! THAT is funny!
Why the hell did they put him out on a boat? For Gawd's sakes, as bad as the others are, at least they are on land. And then they put him in the big yellow rubber raincoat? Now, I'm feeling a bit sorry for the "half baked potato"....

Geebus.
