Why do Republicans, and especially the teabagger variety, always want to go backwards?
Except when it comes to corporate profits?

The corporations already have more money than god, what in the hell makes any of them think that lower wages will create more jobs? Lower wages will only create one thing: More profit and wealth for corporations and the rich!

7. Right on the money with that fact.
Trickle down economics has been proven to be a hoax, but actually reducing wages? They're just cutting their own throats but are to greedy to stop.

11. It's a global market now. They think they don't need American consumers any more--
but they don't realize that many workers in other countries are not paid well enough to buy those products, either.

Basically, companies are going to need to produce stuff only for the rich to buy, since there won't be a middle class to serve as a larger market.

The focus on short-term profits in our business schools and among our corporations has always blinded them to the long-term disasters they are courting.

2. That's just what they want, my dear bluesbassman...
They just want to have more money than anyone...

And to hell with the country.

They have zero loyalty to our country...

9. Sad but true and that's the irony of the Teabag culture.
I firmly believe there are many in the rank and file that are truly patriotic, but they fail to realize that their movement is a sham and it's true mission is to benefit the rich.

3. Because they are scared to death of what lies ahead?
Oh, and of black, brown, and other people that don't look just like them?
What else could it be?

10. I think people of color are just convenient scapegoats to them.

What their really afraid of is not increasing their profit margins every quarter.

I've got no problem with profit; everybody works for profit. What I have a problem with is the ever increasing need to squeeze more and more profit from the same dollar. It's not sustainable.

edit for spelling - bbm

5. They are getting older
Everything looks great in the past. We tend to idealize our youth, and they just want to go back to those days.

This is an easy one, tea baggers definition, you can't get anything out of them until you put them in hot water, only good for one shot, now all wet and ready for the garbage.

8. Cause people enable them ...
I don't get it, I just don't ...

BUT, I know A LOT of really, REALLY good people who are dyed in the wool, vote republican 100 percent of the time ...

Their BS just sucks people in, and they are like totally mesmerized ...

We can do a circular firing squad on our own, but end of the day, the fact that nearly 40-45% of the county votes straight republican 99% of the time is the problem.

Until some of these good people WTF up, we will ebb and flow on this stuff.

That's really the best term for them. I think I'll use it from now on.

14. Cause when the spoils of the world are all divided up by 50 years from now they want
to be really, really, really, rich. That way they'll be able to afford gasoline.
