1. BP is in Queens

The westernmost point of the Rockaway Peninsula.

I worry about Broad Channel. It's just north of the Rockaways on the way to the main part of Queens. It's a spongy, saturated village with little old houses on an island in Jamaica Bay. So much history and it houses a great wildlife refuge.

One of my favorite places in NYC. When I was little we'd drive down there often. Many great memories of flora, fauna and family. Even now it's like going back in time.

I grew up in Woodhaven just northeast of BP on that map. So many good times at the beach! :hi:
