Just sitting here... waiting... waiting for Geraldo
You just know he is going to show up and try to top his on-the-beach and anchoring a network "news" show performance

Geraldo in Galveston during Hurricane Ike

I just caught Luke Russert actually reporting from a marina in Alexandria Va. :eyes: Wow talk about an entitled new legacy allowing us a little bit into his little world.

Geraldo may just report from his apartment in NYC.

2. If anything tells one about how fucked up this country really is?
Seeing that little arrogant shit-head on my tv makes me want to puke. Its great for him that he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but it shows that little Jack or Jane has no real chance of getting there through hard work. Lets face it, President Obama becoming the President is more like winning the lottery in this country, rather than the reality of the situation. Its who you are and who you know that get you anywhere in these United States. If you are born into poverty, you will likely remain in poverty; especially now. That inexperienced twerp got his job because of his Dad and because his Dad died. Its a legacy post. AND his boarding school, private college, upper crust privileged lifestyle show right on through every time he opens his mouth.

5. I can't believe they dragged Baby Russert out to stand in the rain.
Is there at least a slim chance a wave will drench him?

6. I don't really hold it against him, shoot I'd jump at the chance for the job too.
Its just that it shows the entire system is shit. Innovation is lost because we aren't' using the best of each person's abilities. There are so many talented, thoughtful, innovative people in this country working at Target or flipping burgers. Then we have asshole, rich kids ruining the country with their country club/ Harvard alumni stale ideas. Its just a waste every time I think of all the people doing a job and not their calling. Money truly is the idol God that everyone worships. Its certainly not Jesus. He flipped the money table at the temple and supposedly has helped to make each soul unique in characteristic to be a better part of humanity... Money is a curse. Somehow a system of transactional change has to occur, but the hoarders are killing the rest of the people. Anytime you point this out to a Jesus-freak or the Grandma "Teabagging for Jesus", their brain shuts down: cannot compute, cannot compute, cannot compute. Then they get violent. This is the reason most of us just walk around or away from them. Perhaps we should be the compassionate one's and try to help explain in a nice way that they are being used. Some are too far past gone to reason with.
