Current Conditions in Myrtle Beach, SC
A little wet with almost no wind (http://www.earthcam.com/usa/southcarolina/myrtlebeach/).

Hopefully it won't be much worse elsewhere.

1. Not a nice vacation day, that's for sure
but the real mess will be on the outer banks up north.

The track still has this stinker going right up NY harbor. Fortunately, they tend to wobble as they make landfall, and a wobble 20 miles in either direction will make a huge difference.

Then again, I don't know what's worse, having Wall Street under water or having it dry and functioning.

7. You should have said "yet"...
since landfall isn't expected until tomorrow, and the center of the storm is still 200 miles away from Myrtle Beach.

:eyes: yourself.

15. lol, power just went out in Myrtle Beach, too
Well, an area in Myrtle Beach, at least. The winds have picked up and it's raining hard, but nothing that should have knocked out the power. Grr...
