I can only imagine the exploding heads in teabag land as local governments impose curfews and issue evacuation orders along the East Coast.

1. Problem is a few WILL REFUSE to go |
|
And a rescue worker will have to go get them later risking life and limb...yes they will do it, duty is a strange critter but should not be necessary.
Disclaimer...this is not tea baggery...it is quite universal.

3. I thought they didn't send out rescue during storms in mandatory evacuation areas. |

But the rescue will happen most likely after the storm passes and you need to go check on them...it is still wickedly dangerous

5. In some cases I think natural selection should take it's course, but you make a good point |
|
It sucks that idiots end up putting rescue personnel in danger, and while others who through no fault of their own are in need.

8. Trust me, more than once I had that exact thought |
|
and then I dispatched the teams or responded myself.
Virginia Beach Fire is now getting ready... and it is not for fun and games either.

6. When my town calls mandatory evacs for hurricanes |
|
they state that they WILL NOT be responding to emergencies of anyone who did not leave.
And I can't blame them. If you decided to stay you take your chances.

There was more than one time that the mandatory evacuation orders in Tijuana came with deuce and a half with troops...
Yes I was torn from the POV of the force they used at times, but they saved me the need to go deploy personnel to get them out later.
