1. Automatic safety shutdowns
Seismic activity trips the cooling rods, just as at Fukishima.

Difference is there isn't going to be a 60ft wall of water to screw everything up.

6. Yep. Standard procedure for anything unusual happening is to scram the reactor.
"Scram" = emergency warm shutdown, basically turning the reactor off without completely killing it. Then they can assess what's going on, is there any threat to operations, and whether they should turn it back on.

2. Automatic safety shutdown is the impression I got which is
good. People aren't thinking too clearly in the first few seconds and might head on out the door rather than to the "off" switch. :7

3. Yes, automatic.
Went to Lake Anna, little B&B when daughter was about 3, remember it fondly; one of our BEST pics of daughter.
