Extreme Cognitive Dissonance on Fox
Clicked on Fox News around the 4:00 CST to see what they had to say about the Libya situation.

They had about five people sitting around a table. The anchor (I believe she was the anchor because she was blonde) showed a clip from the Donald sqawking about "what do we (US) get out of this? Why don't we get the oil?"

Then seconds later a guy at the table asks where are all the people on the left now, the one's who screamed no blood for oil!

Then they discussed how the US is really NATO, how we footed most of the bill.

Then they discussed how we weren't very supportive of the Libyan rebels.

1. Again, bush=$1.5 trillion, hundreds of thousands dead
tens of thousands horribly maimed, installed puppet regime and gave our corporations control, 8 years, Iraqis hate us, no easy way out. Obama=$100 million, 5 months, no US soldiers killed, Qaddafi on the run, Libyans thanking us profusely. What's the problem?

2. I was surprised that they acknowledged the events at all. That is one kooky bunch.

3. Indirectly, we *do* get the oil.
Oil is a fungible commodity, most Libyan oil will end up in Europe, anyway, as it did before.

There will just be more of it on the market.

We buy at a cheaper price.
