Who believes here that too much of politics has become image?

1. Abe Lincoln would never have been elected today.

Wrong voice (it was said to be nasal), and certainly a too long and lean and awkward appearance.

Bald men should probably never apply.
Although I think Ike still could have made it into the winner's circle.

Awareness of the importance of image, is probably what compelled John Edwards to primp so much.
