I have no idea what Marcus Bachmann's sexual orientation is. I don't really care what it is. It's irrelevant to me. His public behavior and statements about homosexuality are offensive to me. I don't like him one bit. That does not mean that implying that he is gay is OK. We don't know that to be either true or false. Frankly, I see no difference between that and schoolyard bullying where kids call other kids "gay" as an insult.

That's my opinion. Yours might be different. I'm almost certainly not going to change mine, though.

In any case, such stuff isn't allowed on DU, and I support that decision.

Whether hot dogs should be served with ketchup has become an issue at a federal trial in Chicago involving the nation's largest hot dog makers.

The civil trial that pits Sara Lee and Kraft began Monday.

Part of Sara Lee's complaint is that Kraft based claims about having the nation's tastiest hot dogs on allegedly flawed taste tests.

Sara Lee attorney Richard Leighton said one shortcoming was that participants couldn't put condiments on their hot dogs.

2) Forget the gay insinuations about her husband. The key is Denture Insinuations....As a denture wearer, I can relate to that look on his face. Most of what is being censored is because people with thin skins who don't like looking in the mirror but love to shout down other peeps on the internet are whining. And the squeaky mouse gets the cheese, or something like that.

All of the whining about Marcus is ridiculous because when Senator Larry Craig held a public press conference in downtown Boise, Idaho in August of 2007 to announce he was going to resign from office, he also said, "I'm not gay. I've never been gay."
Yet,nobody had even accused him of that!!

It was the most bizzaro political moment I have ever witnessed.
I was downtown when he gave that speech, but I couldn't get over to see him say it live because of all of the traffic at the time.
Someone told me he was resigning and I wanted to witness it.
When I saw his press conference later on the news that night, I thought, man, half a million people in Idaho voted for this guy for over 20 years!!
I thought, "How are they going to take this sudden revelation?"

Of course, 2 weeks later, Craig made another press conference saying he was not going to step down, and I got to go to that one.
It was even weirder than his first one!
The Governor was there and he walked away so fast he was almost running away from that press conference. The reporter who asked him how he felt about Craig not resigning had to jog alongside him just to keep up with him. Even the cameraman had to jog, so he was juggling his camera since he had to jog every once in awhile to keep up with the Governor.

These people, people like Bachmann, don't care about average Americans. They just want to get rich and live like kings.
Like Craig did for over 20 years in Washington.
