I think that pretty much sums up where American opinion is in the this country. My ultra-conservative Republican father who watches Fox News even thinks the rich should be taxed, too, and the offshore accounts should be taxed extremely heavily, and every time the money gets moved to an overseas account. He's a fairly rabid Republican, but even rabid Republicans are fed up with everyone but the wealthy paying the tax burden.

The only people against it are the ultra-rich like the Koch brothers who think they already pay taxes because they donate to causes that THEY want to advance.
