Perry holding veto pen......
.....says he will use it till it runs out of ink, so they won't spend all the money! HE is sincere, because the "they" is the democrats, and HE wants to spend all the money, just like he has done in Texas!

But, but, but, he created all those jobs in Texas! Yeah, with the stimulus monies he got from Obama....you know, the one he is accusing of "spending all the money!"

HE is such a dickhead and an embarrassment for the state of Texas. I don't know why they (Texas republicans) elect such fucking idiots. Monkey see, monkey do, I guess. Don't worry, Perry hasn't a chance of winning anything, because he is actually more stupid than Bush, if that's possible.

1. Texas

elected Perry because it is a very Conservative state. It doesn't mean they aren't good people down there, it's just they are about 'rugged individualism', love their guns and religion. I don't believe we'll ever see Texas go blue in a long while. Demographics perhaps will change that, but not for a while.

2. Hey, I am from Texas...born and raised, still there
I can see Texas going blue in the near future, thanks in part to Rick Perry. We were blue back in the Ann RIchards days and we can get there again, especially since the Bushes aren't running things anymore. I live in one of the reddest areas of the state.
and I hear republicans (not tea babies) saying they are ashamed of what the party has become. They hate Perry and the tea party, but as long as he has an "R" in front of his name, they will vote for him because they are...well...ignorant. All one has to do is engage in any political topic to see the level of the ignorance. They hate me because I do not capitulate to their bullshit and have factual rebuttal to their tripe, and I am relentless in pointing out how they are wrong, and they are always wrong!

3. I married an enlightened Texan! He told me SO much about the Bush family
I could hardly take it all in. I wish Texas and the media had warned us or at least informed us of G.W. who was an occupier of the oval office with credentials consisting of a partying frat boy with age.

5. I am also from Texas.
Rick Perry IS a dickhead and an embarrassment for the State of Texas. Texas Republicans tend to elect fucking idiots because then the rich, Texas Republicans can control the idiot they put in office.

But if you think that Perry hasn't a chance of winning, I think you should think again. Yes, he is more Stupid than Bush, but NOTHING will ever surprise me again. Perry will be a formidable opponent.

That said, myself as well as many other fine Texas Democrats will be working hard to make sure we do not have a Perry in the white house.

6. Its not the "Veto pen" I worry about so much as the WWIII button. I mean he executed an innocent man

when Texas gave him the "switch" to the chair.

Perry is a fucking fascist and he will certainly abuse any power he is given in that regard.

8. Rick Perry is an idiot douchebag. He steals jobs from other states, but
does that mean he'll steal jobs from other countries and bring back our jobs? Not unless they are minimum wage and we give away the farm to the fucking corporations that outsourced in the first place.

I'm a lifelong Texan, but not for long. We're moving to another southern state because Hubby is taking a new job after being laid off because of the economy.
