Ok, I STILL cannot figure this out

Been in a long battle with some old friends from HS (they are RW conservative types) and I keep asking (but get no real response) the following:

If Obama (and liberals) are to blame for the economy and the lack of jobs here, why do so many on the right keep saying that people on Unemployment and such are lazy and just don't want to work and should have their benefits cut?

Either there are a ton of jobs out there and people getting help are lazy, or those people cannot find work. Which is it already??

How can you blame both Obama and those people needing help at the same time?

I just don't get it. Obama is the reason you don't have a job - but really you are the reason you don't. How is it the right is playing both sides of this and not getting called on it?

2. Yeah, the one guy I talk to a lot hypes up the fear angle a lot

Mainly from Glenn Beck's The blaze and such. He never really researches things, just parrots stuff and when I comment he, his dad, and others just yell back that I am a liberal (ie, rarely reply with content but rely on labels and the 'fear', they use buzz words but don't really look into matters...)

When people parrot Beck or Limbaugh instead of answering a simple question, just tell them that you have already heard what Beck thinks from him. You want to know their answers or you will not get into the discussion since you will learn nothing new. And what you want is to learn.

that Obama put all of the wars and Medicare on the books when Bush didn't. When they spout this shit about him and the deficit and how he is a big spend I just want to scream. He has done anything they have gotten everything they wanted and they still complain.

When he first took office my friends and I said its an emergency so now something will get done then I saw that these asshole republiCONS really don't give a damn about any emergency unless it involves them killing someone or buying some more bombs.

The republiCONS will spend their asses off to kill someone they say fuck the people and they claim they are the party that is for LIFE they are killing the citizens of America everyday with our own damn money.Hypocrite bastards!

work. I am sad to say--I wonder if your friends
even know that goes way back in history.
In order to discourage deserving white people
from getting assistance from the Government
Pols in certain parts of the country have done
and said some low down things. Make it sound as
if only black people get public assistance and
make it shameful for a white needy person to even

The one about Obama and Liberals responsible for
job loss. This is the present. The GOP have been
permitted to almost get away with totally changing
the Narrative as to what caused the collapse and
therefore the joblessnes. Repeating over and over
this Obama's economy. Explain to them that someday
they are going to see and it may be too late that
Deregulation and taxcuts for 30 years took away
all the Rules and Wall ST gambled with our money
until the losses caught up with them and they
were hemmorraghing. thus the Banks were ready to
fail . Those Republican Deregulations had given
Business so much power we are still caught up
in their web,The Republicans and GWB were hemmorraging
jobs at 790,000 per month.
