OMG! Perry is even more stupid than bush...
Edited on Sat Aug-13-11 12:08 PM by CleanGreenFuture
In S. Carolina today:

"... There is still a whole bunch work to be done in DC. And we need to send truly physical conservative repbulicans to Washington to get the job finished."

That is verbatum. And I was watching this in a clip in CNN. After the clip, the reporter, Jim
Acosta, acted as if the gaffes didn't even happen.

Rick Perry is just another Texas redneck dumbass with no redeeming quality whatsoever.

Edited: On CNN just now they said Perry is about to speak in S Carolina. So, the clip they showed earlier may be from another speech somewhere.

Keep in mind that Perry wasn't on the media's radar before his recent confab with the cock brother in Colorado. And right now on the TV machine, CNN is suckling his ass hard enough to leave a hickey.

33. Rove and the pig estab hate him with a capital H. They don't
want him to run. I am laughing at the media who seem to think Perry is a genius for announcing on the day all the candidates were starting in Iowa. That is simpleminded politics 101, not a genius thing. They will probably leak his gay problem which apparently is widely known in political circles.

37. Juanita Jean
Herownself http://juanitajean.com/ calls Perry bean dip dumb. That may or may not be a Texasism, but I'm familiar with bean dip and it sounds about right to me. and Juanita Jean herownself is close to making me reconsider my stance on one person"channeling"another. It's not quite Molly Ivins but it's close enough for this world.

6. Bless his heart, he does try,
But really, how smart can he be if he doesn't think his scandal of five years or so ago can't be dug up, in, say, a Texas minute? He's a male Palin. Dumber than a rock but purdy.

Hence, his nickname Guvna Goodhair. Other than that, yeah, all hat, no cattle. Empty shirt, closeted gay man. Now that I think about it, except for the shrub being much uglier, they really are two peas in a pod. Dumb and Dumber.

Supreme Court in his first term and election shenanigans in Ohio in the second. He didn't win either term honestly. Dumb people can be crafty although I think Karl Rove was the engineer of those election frauds.

16. In 2000 Gore should have blown Bush away. We were at peace, the economy was good.
That election should never have been close enough to steal, hand, or anything else.

The point is that being a redneck dumbass has nothing to do with preventing Perry from becoming president just as Bush did no matter what.

The Rove cheating machine and MSM conducted a smear blitz on Gore and he won anyway. So they had to cheat. They are going to do it to Obama too if he doesn't get the Dept. of Justice to investigate the whole Bush administration and put many of them in jail especially Karl Rove. Otherwise we may be saying hello to President Perry.

36. Yes, they did all that while allowing it to be the closest presidential election
just to toy with us. They are good at what they do and do what they need to do to win. Democrats on the other hand like to play by fair and square Marquis of Queensbury rules where cheating is not allowed, as if they care.

22. We know that election was stolen. I wasn't any where near what you could
describe as a "politics junkie" at the time. I was anything but. Indeed, it was seeing what happened in that very election that got me more involved than just going to vote on the appointed day.

Because it was stolen, we really don't know how close it was. It may not have been close at all for bush. We don't know how many votes got fipped or added along the way. We will never know.

with them at a retreat in Colorado a few weeks ago. Now, magically, when no one (even Perry himself) had any ideas about him running, he's suddenly getting his ass kissed to the point that MSNBC pre-empted Prison Weekend to show his mug.

Edit: Ok, show me a link. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

41. Rove did such a thing.
Again, look at my words. I'm sorry if the abbreviations made it difficult.

"perry was hand picked by rove to be lt gov"

Full text would be "perry was hand picked by rove to be lieutenant governor. This was in 1997, long before the koch heads picked him. Perry began as a Democrat and served as Al Gore's state campaign chairman in 1988. He then played ag commissioner for a while until tapped by rove who had been grooming (puppet handling) bush and his run for governor.

I didn't say they were friendly or that rove picked him to run for president, or even run for governor. They don't like each other. But rove was happy to have perry looking dumb next to bush when he ran for governor.

I think you jumped the gun and thought that I said rove picked him to run as a republican candidate for president. I didn't. My post was meant to show just how dumb perry is. He is a toady for every moneyed interest in existence. And yes, the koch heads want him for president. He is just the kind of stupid puppet they would like. Just watch how perry will start dressing and gesturing like reagan, another neocon puppet.
