I am very, very proud of Wisconsin today.

5. We did not win the ultimate victory yesterday, but Republicans have to be nervous.

Democrats won 2 victories in 6 races all against Republican incumbents. That is a big achievement and it shows what we can do when we work hard and Democrats come out in great numbers and vote.

We need to keep up the enthusiasm and the hard work and build on these victories in the battle to recall Walker. In collecting the signatures needed we will need to do things exactly, having all the i's dotted and the t's crossed.

One thing we do need is to have a big name and well respected person to run against Walker. If Russ Feingold were to announce he would do that, then the recall signatures would pour in and Walker would have a tough time against Feingold when Democrats show up and vote.

At least I can be happy here in La Crosse that Jen Shilling won and we booted out Kapanke.
