...it's too bad that we weren't able to regain control of the state senate, but we should be encouraged by the fact we have reduced the Republican majority to only one seat and won two races in heavily-Republican areas. Lawmakers in other states now understand that the power of middle/working class voters in America cannot be underestimated.

Let's get busy and defend the two Democratic state senators up for recall next week (8/16)!
