"The Tea Part Recession." Let's call it like it is, using preemptive language that makes sense.e

IF a recession occurs, let's use the language to our benefit for a change, especially when so clear a case can be made. In fact, there are videos of Tea Party Members saying a downgrade would make no difference or would be a welcome opportunity, giving us incentives for budgetary cutting, or even videos of Tea Party bio-forms cheering on news of a downgrade:

Before Luntz gets a study group to come up with a fetching lie, let's be prepared to use this:

It will never fly. Oh it should, and a whole lot more too. Unfortunately our president and our leadership has no spine.

3. I believe it will work. Cannot fail, in fact, if we use it.

It's coming from Biden's (was it?) "Tea Part Downgrade."

If there is a recession and we use this, everyone touched by the recession (including many who know those so touched, and of course all the empathetic liberals like myself) will understand that phrase like a bell ringing in the center of their cranium. Most political slogans can be sloughed off (especially by independents) but not this one because the "ringing" has the truth of recent history.
