3. expect ebbs and flows in the story and its coverage
its tendrils stretch into so many places I expect stories will be peaking and waning for quite some time before the full amount of damage done to Newscorp is done and known.

5. August is vacation season all over Europe
so don't expect a lot of action over the next three weeks or so.

Friends in Europe tell me that the story will likely explode again in mid September with lots of new revelations and new charges.

Murdoch will be out of business in the UK. He's going to have a real fight on his hands to stay in business here.

4. I don't think they have forgotten it. I believe
their masters have told them to leave it alone. And as long as there are "newspersons" like Chuckie Toad, Alex Twit and Andrea Greencheese on their payroll they will do as they are told. And I will stop with Creepy Crawley Crowley.
