George Carlin --- "they're coming for your retirement...they want it back...they want it all back so that they can give it to their criminal buddies on wall street"

The S & P 500 is not impartial - they're the major player in the whole wall street scam. They were THE major criminal players on wall street where their extremely profitable fraud, carried out hand-in-hand with the investment banks, led to this present crisis.

This whole "crisis" (purposely generated by the unnecessarily debt ceiling fiasco in congress) is the end of a long plan for wall street's criminal empire. This is political extortion, that was intentionally put in place, colluding with a corrupt congress swimming in special interest group money, to dictate austerity policies opposed by vast majorities of the American public. Make no mistake - they have been waiting DECADES for this. Using threats of wrecking the larger economy (much like what's already been done in the UK, Greece and others), they are now in the perfect position to put the final nail in the USA's coffin. The rating change will be cited by "bipartisan committees" again and again as the rationale for ever-harsher austerity, with trillions more in cuts to social spending and a full-on assault on Medicare and Social Security waiting for all of us in the wings.

800 Billion handed over to them disguised as a bailout wasn't enough. They used that money to collectively pack their bags to Beijing and Taiwan, and are grabbing for the dishes and silverware on their way out the door.

George Carlin(once again)---"this country is finished"

10. That is the documentary to end all documentaries.
Thank you for posting the link.

And it shows what happens to those nsations who choose to put the Milton Friedm,an-style "shock and disaster" style economic policies in place - the nations either end up as military juntas taht sdisappear people, or else as mafia-run sink holes, like Russia has been over the last decade.

7. Don't ever forget RUPERT MURDOCH owns The S&P!
Why the Fed govt allows a terrorist to own a major financial institution in America is beyond me!

Might as well just feed our money to The Beast personally.

9. Decisions have consequences.
Had someone in a position of power moved to investigate and charge S&P and the Wall Street movers and shakers responsible for this instead of putting those criminals in high positions in the government, then perhaps this wouldn't have happened. Nothing like looking forward.
