to read the latest. Over the weekend I fractured my ankle and now hopping on one leg with a walker. Now my hopping knee is swelling. Waiting for all the bills that medicare and my supplement won't pay. I am depressed.

some of us out here do not have insurance or medicare.

6. If you have Medicare and a supplement

it should cover your costs. Maybe you have an advantage plan, we have the original supplements, they cost us and our monthly outlay for insurance takes a hunk out of our ss but at least it covers everything.

When I recently found myself without the use of my left foot I found it easier to move around on crutches than a walker. But, both crutches and the walker were unsatisfactory. You might try some 'properly adjusted' crutches.
