3. Reality check: the House is well controlled by Republicans.
But you knew this already since this has nothing to do with reality.

Clever how you blame others who won't jump through your hoop.

5. Who is safe
Is Rep Clyburn? I almost wonder if all o fus who have a Republican Congress Critter in the house reached out to him to pick up where Wiener left off . . . he could get somewhere with this. I've been ignored by Leonard Lance on this issue (as I am on every issue). I just need someone in the House who might listen.

6. K&R for the removal of a corrupt 'associate justice.'
Thanks for the reminder, jorno67. Clarence Thomas' paymasters don't want this story remembered.

10. How would we go about doing that?
The only body that can impeach a Supreme Court Justice is the House of Representatives. Right now, they're on a 5 week recess. Beyond that, they're controlled by the Republicans. What makes you thing it's possible that they'll start impeachment proceedings against one of their favorite SCOTUS justices?

I think you need to reframe your goal a bit. Currently, you're asking the impossible at the moment. "We" can't impeach anyone, and "they" won't.

11. but we can keep this issue from being swept under the "debt ceiling" rug
If we let it go - it will die forever. Every time those bastards screw up we need to talk about it, and keep talking about it, and keep talking about it...

12. I suggest you choose another way of saying it, then.
People who understand the impeachment process will just ignore you. If we can regain control over Congress, then impeachment can come up, but that's a long way off and a lot of work ahead.

Right now, there is not a thing we can do about that scumbag Thomas. What we can do is to work to provide an environment where we could do something. That's my goal. I don't waste my time on things that cannot happen - I only spend my time on things that are possible.
