I think "we" are very left. Our so-called Democrats in Congress and in the white house are not left at all.

Any progressive moves by about 75% (and I'm being generous) of the Dems at the federal level are strictly because of their own self interest and needing to maintain some small segment of that base, not because of any actual beliefs or values.

We all need to wise up ASAP and stop enabling this crap.
