Right Wing has NEVER evaluated police officers...and yet investigates the teachers as an act of vicious political actions

7. I've long been impressed with Matt Damon...
Never more so than hearing his impassioned speech. Kudos, Mr. Damon. Your talent and intelligence says a great deal about the opportunities you were presented with a quality public school education. May others be so fortunate.

8. Really appreciated his remarks.

As a teacher, I've thought of the police officer comparison before, but never really wanted to go there. I believe in solidarity with my unionized brothers and sisters and am not interested in the divide and conquer techniques of the right. However, I have sometimes wondered why no one blames police officers for high crime rates. Not that I do, but it is certainly a double standard.

9. My NYC admins want 10 (TEN) classroom observations ...
Edited on Tue Aug-02-11 08:35 PM by Smarmie Doofus
next year, one of which, the *formal* observation, will be taped on 360 degree camera.

WTF is next: mug shots and strip searches?

I am sick of Obama and I am sick of this *shit*.

Primary. Challenge.

Of a non-Dem. By a real DEM.

11. 10 observations?
wtf? That's horrendous.

I feel for you, SD. It takes the fun out of the job. It was fun, once upon a time.

12. Thanks. It was fun, once.

But I'm sick and tired of being treated like a criminal.

A criminal who's job is 95% paperwork and "data collection".

Data collection: See the Obamacation-inspired "cheating scandals" that have broken in GA and PA and and are in fact a feature of *all* urban districts in the year 2011.

2011: AKA the Obama "Error".

What an unmitigated disaster.

And dig this fucking camera:

13. A standard for police officers
Measured by what metrics? This is an interesting idea, if crime rates don't fall to acceptable levels, then the police department failing is disbanded and replaced, or the pay and benefits are decreased.

Could we turn the right wing's tactics upon them?
