Republicans will claim that Obama is raising taxes unless the tax cuts are extended..

Congress doesn't have to wait for them to expire before they do that.

Which can't move anything forward and being a dysfunctional body you don't pass anything to change or keep it.

6. And when they expire, it will count as billions in "cuts" in spending.
It would be stupid to make raising taxes part of the deal when that's set to happen anyway.

I wish people would shut up about it before the teabaggers insist on a pledge to make the Bush cuts permanent as part of the extortion.
